Join Us

Change begins with you. LEARN stands for “Listening, Engaging, Action, Reflection Network.” Our name speaks to how we will work with you to make lasting, foundational change. Our first step is to listen. We invite you to share your experience of being BIPOC in Missoula and any ideas you have for creating a more equitable system of government. By speaking with us, you’ll be helping us connect the lived experiences of BIPOC community members to systemic challenges in Missoula. And you’re the crucial first step in helping our community create a comprehensive action plan for local leaders.

Engage With Us

If you’d like to help us address structural racism in Missoula, please email us at learnmissoula@gmail.com. We’ll set up a time to speak with one of our BIPOC team members about your experiences. We usually ask for an hour of your time but we’re happy to work around your schedule. We can meet in person, on Zoom, over the phone, or even just through email — whatever works best for you. We’ll keep all your information confidential. Most importantly, we’ll let your voice be heard.

If an interview won’t work for you, we can still use your help. All kinds of data help us build a BIPOC-led plan for change. Simply fill out the data form that fits you best and you’ll be helping us create solutions for a more equitable Missoula.
